FAQs

We've answered some of the questions we get asked the most here at War Paint.

When do I use Anti-Shine Powder?

Anti-Shine Powder is a product you can use at the end of your makeup routine, after you have applied all other products. This product will act as a setting powder, so will help keep the makeup in place. You can also use this on its own to give your skin a matte finish.

How do I apply Anti-Shine Powder?

You'll need a powder brush to apply this. If you don't have one, don't worry, we've got one here.

If you are applying other makeup, then use Anti-Shine Powder last and to act as a finishing powder to lock in your makeup for the day.

Apply with a powder brush in circular motions all over your face, you can add a bit more to any areas of your face that tend to get a bit greasier.

If you notice it's making you look pale then you've used too much, so give it a few practices to see what works for you before you go show off your new matte, shine-free face.

When do I apply Bronzer?

Bronzer should be applied after you have put on all your other products. This is generally the last step before you head off for work or that big night out.

How do I apply Bronzer?

You'll need a powder brush to apply Bronzer. If you don't have one, don't worry, we've got one here.

Using the powder brush, apply onto your face in a number ‘3’ motion starting from your forehead, coming in under your cheekbone and finishing on your jawline. Repeat on the other side of your face. Add more bronzer for a darker look. Be sure to buff it in with the brush so that it looks subtle and not streaky.

Think of adding the bronzer where the sun would hit your skin if directly above you.
